Musings of the day is more than just a collection of personal humorous essays. It is a look into the lifestyle of having companion animals. The good, the bad, the happy, and sad. Kathy shares her deepest thoughts along with her happiest times, and all the in between blinks. A laugh out loud, poignant visit with parrots, ducks, dogs, squirrels, guinea pigs, rabbits, lizards, and an insufferable Muscovy duck named, Morty. A great read for those who love all animals, wildlife or pets, and the joy they bring. Relatable human tales explained by the animals sharing the story.
Musings began May 11th, 2016 on my personal Facebook page. Intended as simple writing exercises, they fast became popular open windows and doors to what came and went in my day. You might call this a diary, but that wouldn’t define musings properly. You might consider this a “note to self” as well. But that too, falls short. Musings are a still frame to the truth of my daily life. And on reflection, the truth of all our lives. We are all a light that was meant to be shared. Musings is intended to slow life down for the reader, while we take a walk together through my daily moments of revelation. Those revelations are brought to you by the companions, coincidences, and chaos found in my lifestyle.
